Loop Dee Science and Vitalac sign partnership in food safety
A strategic partnership for healthy, sustainable livestock farming

We are pleased to announce the upcoming signing of a strategic agreement with VITALAC BIOTECH, a major player in animal nutrition and feed safety.
This Vitalac partnership in food safety represents a turning point in our shared mission: supporting the animal feed industry with innovative and responsible solutions, adapted to today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.

Who is VITALAC BIOTECH?

Founded in 1989, VITALAC is a private, independent Breton company that designs, manufactures, and distributes a wide range of livestock products.
Its portfolio includes mineral feeds, premixes, and nutritional specialties for pigs, ruminants, and poultry.

Operating in more than 60 countries, Vitalac’s production site is located in Finistère, France.
Within this context, VITALAC BIOTECH was created to address feed safety challenges.

Additionally, VITALAC BIOTECH provides audits, sanitary control plans, and solutions to prevent feed contamination.
It also offers decontamination solutions for contaminated products, such as the Salmotruck, a mobile unit capable of treating up to 100 tonnes per hour.

A collaboration that began in early 2024

The partnership started in early 2024 when VITALAC tested the solution in its production plant.
Convinced by its relevance, VITALAC BIOTECH quickly decided to formalize the collaboration and offer it to its clients.
These initial discussions laid the foundation for a meaningful and long-lasting partnership.

The first public presentation of the LoopiX system took place at the SPACE exhibition in Rennes.
This milestone symbolized the launch of the alliance, emphasizing innovation and performance.

Why partner with VITALAC BIOTECH?

This partnership was a natural step, driven by shared values and complementary expertise.
Together, we aim to guarantee animal feed safety and provide practical, innovative, and sustainable solutions to our clients.

Loop Dee Science contributes molecular biology expertise, while VITALAC BIOTECH brings HACCP knowledge, customer proximity, and sector insight.
This collaboration ensures solutions that meet today’s safety and sustainability challenges in agriculture.

The main goal of VITALAC BIOTECH is to reduce pathogens such as Salmonella in animal feed.
The LoopiX system plays a central role in this process.
It enables rapid pathogen detection, thereby enhancing feed safety—a crucial concern in the animal feed market.

Through this Vitalac partnership in food safety, we collectively provide additional guarantees and respond to the essential needs of the industry.
Our shared ambition is to support feed professionals with reliable, high-performance, and environmentally friendly tools.
Ultimately, this partnership opens new opportunities and delivers sustainable benefits to clients while contributing to responsible and resilient agriculture.
