A strategic partnership for healthy, sustainable livestock farming
We are pleased to announce the upcoming signing of a strategic partnership agreement with VITALAC BIOTECH, a major player in animal nutrition and food safety for the animal feed production industry. This partnership marks a turning point in our shared ambition: supporting players in the animal feed sector with solutions that are both innovative and responsible, suited to today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
Who is VITALAC BIOTECH?
VITALAC, a private, independent company from Brittany founded in 1989, designs, manufactures, and distributes a wide range of livestock products. These products include mineral feeds, premixes, and nutritional specialties for pigs, ruminants, and poultry.
Present in more than 60 countries, Vitalac’s production site is based in France, in Finistère.
In this context, VITALAC BIOTECH, a subsidiary of VITALAC, was created to address food safety challenges.
VITALAC BIOTECH also offers audits, sanitation control plans, and solutions to prevent food contamination. VITALAC BIOTECH also offers decontamination solutions for contaminated feed, such as the Salmotruck, a mobile decontamination unit capable of processing up to 100 tonnes of product per hour.
A collaboration born in early 2024
The collaboration began in early 2024. First, VITALAC tested the solution within its own production plant. Then, convinced of its relevance, VITALAC BIOTECH wanted to quickly finalize a partnership to offer it to its clients. These initial discussions laid the groundwork for a solid, meaningful collaboration.
This first step was followed by an official presentation of LoopiX at the SPACE trade show in Rennes, a must-attend event for agriculture professionals. This milestone moment marked the launch of the alliance, driven by innovation and performance.

VITALAC BIOTECH‘s main objective is to reduce the presence of pathogens such as Salmonella in animal feed.
In this effort, the LoopiX solution plays a central role. This high-performing tool enables rapid detection of pathogens such as Salmonella, strengthening animal feed safety, a critical issue in the feed market. Thanks to this technology, we are working together to provide additional assurances and meet the essential needs of players in the sector.
