The FIV and FelV viruses, responsible respectively for AIDS and leukosis in cats, are caused by retroviruses easily transmitted between cats (bites, scratches, sexual intercourse, etc.).
The FIV and FelV viruses, responsible respectively for AIDS and leukosis in cats, are caused by retroviruses easily transmitted between cats (bites, scratches, sexual intercourse, etc.). The detection of these two pathogens is commonly carried out in adult cats during adoption, when characteristic symptoms appear or when the cat shows visible signs of scratching or biting.
These two diseases are also transmissible from mother to child during the gestation period, hence the value of early detection.
The LoopDeetect FIV / FeLV Kit allows the detection, directly in veterinary clinics and on blood plasma, of these two pathogens.
